Roofing & Lead Works

Extensive joinery work carried out to the exterior of the building focusing primarily on the decaying soffit and fascia boards which had decorative dentils and mouldings replaced also which we had to have specially run from our timber supplier to match in with the existing exactly as it is a B listed building. The timber works then continued to structural works that we uncovered that needed to be resolved at the bay windows where we had to strengthen the existing joists and replace where required! The timber works were also required at the dormers to strip back the decaying timber and replaced with new timbers.

Roofing and lead works:

3 full panels approximately 250m2 of scotch slate was removed the sarking boards that were rotten and replaced with like for like, then new 1F felt was installed and new lead valleys before being slated back up with Cupa H3 slates.
Comprehensive scotch slate repairs carried out across the rest of the building.
New leadwork carried out to existing failed lead gutters and valleys
New cast iron OG gutters supplied and installed to replace the existing Upvc failed gutters

External decorating:

All timber work, gutters and down pipes were patched where necessary and primed before two coats of external paint applied – 50% of this decoration work was carried out by cherry picker
